ABOUT GUMDROP & JUJU
Gumdrop the axolotl and Juju the whale shark are magical sea creature guardians of a secret underwater candy-land, where fields of lollipops and bushels of candyfloss grow wild among orchards of candy-apple trees and jellybean stalks.
As it turns out, this magical candy is actually the source of all bio-luminescence in the ocean! All the sea creatures eat it to make themselves glow in the deepest waters.
During the project, you’ll get to make some of this magical candy in the form of fish-shaped cookies, which double as stuffing when you feed them to Gumdrop and Juju
SMUGGLE-TUCK PETS

ABOUT THE PATTERN
Originally designed for Hobbii as a crochet-along, this project is a reversible amigurumi that you can flip inside-out to reveal an axolotl on one side and a whale shark on the other side.
The majority of the project is crocheted with bulky yarn and a large hook, using thinner yarn and a smaller hook for some of the features.
The bulky yarn is also double-stranded with cotton for easier crocheting and stitch visibility.
This pattern comes with detailed videos covering every part of the project as it was set out during the crochet-along.

YARN WEIGHT: The pattern is designed using weight 2 (light) and weight 6 (super bulky) yarn.
SIZE: Approx. 47 cm / 18.5” from head to tail.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
