ABOUT PHOENIX
Meet the magical fox named Phoenix with sparkling eyes and icy fur. Phoenix was named after a probe that we sent to explore the water history of Mars in 2008, and he earned this name because of his magical water abilities. This fox-scout uses his special water senses to track down the life-giving liquid for all the creatures who live together in Astral Acres
ABOUT THE PATTERN
This pattern uses fur yarn for crocheting a soft and cuddly life-sized fox, large enough for children to use as a body pillow. The fox’s loose features are crocheted separately and assembled by sewing. Crocheting and sewing with fur yarn might be more challenging than regular yarn, but the advantage is that fur hides mistakes very well so perfection isn’t vital. Fur also works up fast due to its bulk, making quick work of large amigurumi like Phoenix.
To give yourself an easy time, be sure to watch my video on how to crochet with fur.
