A little toad bag that works up fast and can be completing in a few hours, making it an ideal weekend craft, and perfect for gifting or market stock.
The majority of the piece uses triple strands to work up quickly and firmly, with the bonus of creating interesting colour effects.

ABOUT THE “PRINCE”
This chubby critter is masquerading as a frog prince, but he’s actually a toad. Legend has it that all it takes is one kiss for him to magically transform into a dashing beau, making all your royal dreams come true. The only thing we know for certain is this little guy is mega cute and super handy: As a mini-bag, this kissing toad will hold small accessories like your earbud case, phone charger, or a small bottle of lotion. Keep little nick-nacks handy by clipping the toad to your purse, or inside your gym bag for easy access to small items. Your little prince is eager to help – give him small items to guard as special treasure.

PATTERN INFO
YARN WEIGHT: The pattern is designed using double knit yarn, which is the equivalent to yarn weight 3, light worsted, 8 ply or 11 wpi. You can use any yarn for this project. The yarn is triple-stranded to make crocheting quick and firm. You can substitute with a single strand of thicker yarn, but you will need thinner yarn for some of the pieces. Deviating from the pattern’s recommendations will be up to your own experimentation but you can discuss effective yarn substitution methods with the Projectarian community here.
SIZE: 13 x 13 cm
TERMINOLOGY: US terminology with metric sizes.
SKILL LEVEL: Confident beginner.
The pattern itself is rated as easy in difficulty. You will need to already have basic crocheting skills in order to complete the project, such as familiarity with the single crochet stitch, slip stitch, half double crochet and chain.
