I have just added Helium the Hippo to Hobbii’s pattern shop! I’m very excited to finally be on board with Hobbii Plus, as it’s taken a while to get Helium done in-between the Underwater Tails CAL that I designed for Hobbii, and all my regular design work. Orbit the Dragon will be joining Helium very soon, Astro the Tortoise is next in line, with many more to come. I am planning to add new patterns at a regular pace so there shouldn’t be a very long delay between new arrivals -so long as everything goes to plan!

I must say, I am having the absolute best time crocheting these cuties for Hobbii. When I design a new pattern, I usually only have time to make 1 model before I move on to the next design. Revisiting these characters in my collection and getting to crochet them for a second time is such immense fun, and has renewed my enthusiasm for them. Helium the Hippo is a large and complex amigurumi but so interesting to construct and satisfying to complete. Orbit the Dragon is easier and simpler, if you wanted to spend less time but still make project that is as cute as ever. Orbit’s features can also be customized and positioned in different arrangements to personalize the look of your Dragon, which is extra cool!
